The Golden Finance reported that MARA, a BTC mining enterprise, raised $1.925 billion in November and December through convertible notes. Using the proceeds from the zero-interest convertible notes, MARA acquired 15,574 BTC at a price of approximately $98,529 per BTC, worth about $1.53 billion, and repurchased the existing convertible notes maturing in 2026 for a total principal amount of approximately $263 million, and is expected to use the remaining income to purchase more BTC. MARA's BTC yield is 22.5% QTD and 60.9% YTD. As of December 18, 2024, MARA holds 44,394 BTC, valued at $4.45 billion based on the spot price of $100,151 per BTC.
