Analyzing 60 leading DEXs, 5 major trends worth following The DEX( decentralized exchange has experienced explosive growth since the DeFi boom in June 2020, with monthly trading volume increasing 105 times within a year, reaching 20.395 billion USD. The DEX market initially started on Ethereum and then expanded to multiple public chains such as BSC, Solana, Avalanche, etc. Currently, DEX on the Ethereum chain still dominates, while the trading volume and locked value of DEX on other public chains still lag behind Ethereum. DEX mainly includes types such as AMM, cross-chain trading protocols, derivative trading protocols, stablecoin trading protocols, and DEX aggregators. Among them, AMM is the most common type of DEX, and Uniswap is the most well-known representative of AMM. By analyzing the top 60 DEXs, we summarize the following 5 key trends: 1. Market share is highly concentrated, with only a few.
1. Market Observation Although the U.S. has extended the tariff suspension period to August 1, it has once again threatened to increase taxes on imports from major trading partners this week, leading to continued uncertainty over the final tariff levels. A UBS report shows that the current tariffs are equivalent to a tax of 1.5% of GDP on U.S. importers, with annual tariff revenue exceeding $300 billion. The lagging effects of these tariffs on inflation are expected to manifest in the July CPI data to be released in August. This delay is attributed to corporate inventory buffering, slow transmission of prices for intermediate goods, and the bi-monthly sampling method of CPI, with historical experience indicating that a 10% general tariff takes 2-3 months to fully reflect in the price index. Regarding interest rate policy, the Federal Reserve faces a dilemma: a New York Fed survey shows that one-year inflation expectations have fallen to 3%, but there are significant pressures in subcategories such as healthcare costs (9.3%) and college tuition (9.1%), while the labor market presents contradictory signals.
