API3, which offers decentralized applications over blockchain technology, introduced OEV Netwok, which stands out with its zk-Rollup feature.
API3 announced on social media on Monday, January 29, the launch of its new Polygon (MATIC)-powered network, OEV. In the statement, it was stated that this network will be used to optimize the oracle extractable value (OEV).
Stating that there is a lot of liquidity loss in blockchains due to OEV, the team emphasized that they will bring an important solution to this problem thanks to OEV Network.
The team cited DeFi platform Aave as a concrete example of this loss of liquidity. It was pointed out that $2 billion worth of positions in Aave have been liquidated in the last 3 years, of which more than $100 million has been paid as liquidation premiums.
