Trump Media & Technology Group (DJT), a U.S.-listed company, announced on Thursday local time that it has submitted S-1 registration documents to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission for the issuance of the "Truth Social Bitcoin ETF" and will be listed on the New York Stock Exchange after completing the approval process. The announcement said that the ETF will directly hold bitcoin and issue shares to investors, aiming to reflect the price performance of bitcoin. Yorkville America Digital will act as the fund sponsor and will be responsible for regulatory compliance and operational management. Although there is no deadline for the S-1 filing, the NYSE filed a 19b-4 filing for the ETF on Tuesday, and the U.S. SEC needs to make a final decision within 240 days. Therefore, it is conservatively estimated that the bitcoin ETF of the Trump family industry will be listed by early next year.
