Binance CEO Richard Teng made a statement following Bitcoin's consecutive record-breaking achievements!

Binance CEO Richard Teng described the fact that countries are starting to recognize cryptocurrencies as part of their strategic reserves as "exciting" in statements made during the 'Mornings with Maria' program.

Teng, who touched on many topics from his travels in Bhutan to the new regulations in the US, stated that the global adaptation of cryptocurrency is accelerating.

Speaking about the visit to Bhutan, Teng noted that thanks to the collaboration with the country's Ministry of Tourism and local DK Bank, payments with Bitcoin could be made at over 1000 businesses. Stating that the use of cryptocurrency is facilitated in many transactions from accommodation to plane tickets, guide payments to souvenir shopping, Teng said, "This system is safe, low-cost, and highly effective for both users and local businesses."

Teng stated that Bhutan has embraced cryptocurrency not only in usage but also in reserves, noting that the country began Bitcoin mining with green energy five years ago and currently holds a significant amount of Bitcoin reserves. Additionally, it was announced that assets such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Binance Coin (BNB) are included in the strategic reserve scope in Bhutan's special economic zone, GMC.

Referring to developments in the US, Teng stated, "President Trump is strategically approaching future technologies such as blockchain and artificial intelligence. The vision for the US to be the center of the crypto world offers great opportunities not only for economic growth but also for high value-added employment and foreign direct investment."

The Congress's preparation to vote on new legislation regarding stablecoins and market structure as part of the "Crypto Week" to be held in mid-July is, according to the CEO of Binance, a harbinger of a new era in the industry. Teng, who stated, "These developments indicate that the U.S. is moving away from its past repressive approach and adopting a stance that supports innovation," said that responsible innovation will become possible with the formation of a clear regulatory framework.

Teng, who stated that the number of Binance users has exceeded 280 million, noted that this growth is largely due to institutional investors entering the crypto market. "It's not just individual investors; company treasuries, foundations, family offices, and even sovereign wealth funds are showing interest in crypto. Global crypto adoption is still only at 7%, but the next 10% increase will come much faster," he said.

Teng also addressed a new proposal that has emerged in the U.S. According to this, institutions such as Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac will consider crypto assets in creditworthiness analysis in conjunction with the plan supported by President Trump. "The American dream is traditionally defined as homeownership. The inclusion of crypto assets in this process not only enhances financial inclusion but also increases the mainstream acceptance of crypto," he said.

According to Richard Teng, regulatory clarity and political support in the US will force other countries to step into this field as well. "If the US leads, the remaining countries will not want to miss this opportunity. It is now clear that cryptocurrency offers a strategic advantage in economic competition," he said.

The CEO of Binance concluded his speech with the words, "We are entering a new dawn. Global adoption will accelerate and cryptocurrency will be integrated into every aspect of life."
