Speaking at a conference with finance professionals, BlackRock executive Joseph Chalom said that tokenization of traditional assets will happen, but it will be slow. Chalom stressed that for DeFi adoption, KYC and anti-money laundering practices should become widespread. He also cited the new version of Uniswap as an example, stating that further steps should be taken in terms of transparency. Chalom took a more measured view of the future of cryptocurrency and DeFi.
