Just watched a video about the one-armed regicide Jaime, seeing Brienne being thrown into a bear pit for fun while holding a wooden sword, he jumped down to save her, a moment of knightly spirit surging forth. The reason "Game of Thrones" is so captivating is that it tells us our real world is not perfect, and people are the same. Besides being unkind to the little kid who fell from the tower at the beginning, Jaime is deeply bonded with the Imp; his feelings for Cersei are profound and loyal, living and dying together; for his family, he takes on the mission in times of crisis, sweeping through the Old Rose and other allied forces; for his rumored girlfriend Brienne, he supports her all the way to help her out of the low point.
