Recently, I had an in-depth conversation with a fren about the trending topics in the current Web3 space. Our dialogue made me realize that many people feel anxious in this rapidly evolving industry, mainly because they have not yet found a suitable positioning for themselves.
In this complex ecosystem, everyone has the potential to play different roles. Some people are naturally endowed with a keen sense and the ability to quickly gather information, making them more suitable to be information disseminators. Others possess extensive networks and social skills, which may enable them to excel in project matchmaking and user acquisition.
There is another group of people who are calm and rational, able to clearly analyze risks and returns, which makes them prudent individual investors. At the top of the pyramid, there are very few individuals who can integrate various resources, build compelling narratives, and translate consensus into actual value; they often become the market leaders.
The key is that everyone needs to honestly assess their strengths and limitations. What are you good at? What are you suited to do? What heights can you reach in which field? These questions are crucial because only by finding the right positioning can your efforts truly translate into value, rather than becoming a bargaining chip for others to cash in on.
In the world of Web3, filled with opportunities and challenges, many people yearn to get rich quickly or become famous overnight. This mindset is understandable, but it's more important to maintain patience and focus. Trust me, making steady progress in a field that suits you is far more meaningful than struggling desperately in the wrong direction. Find your positioning, leverage your strengths, and that is the key to establishing yourself in the Web3 market.
