As an ordinary person, I once faced a common dilemma: lacking a prestigious school degree, lacking networking resources, and even struggling to add content to my resume. However, an unexpected opportunity quietly arrived—a remote work invitation from a foreign Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO).
This invitation is unusual. It does not ask me to provide a traditional resume or go through an interview, but instead sent a task list and a USDC reward scheme directly. What surprised me even more was that they stated my 'on-chain identity has been verified and meets the eligibility requirements.' At that moment, I realized that my continuous activities on the blockchain over the past six months have built a unique and valuable resume.
Behind this new type of talent screening method is a Web3 infrastructure called Lagrange at work. The uniqueness of the Lagrange system lies in its focus not on traditional evaluation criteria such as education or background, but rather on individuals' actual behaviors and contributions on the blockchain.
The key points of the Lagrange assessment include: whether real funds have been invested in liquidity provision (LP), whether there has been participation in on-chain governance proposals, activity across multiple blockchains, whether smart contracts or other content have been deployed, as well as user retention rates and behavioral diversity. This data is integrated into an immutable 'proof of behavior', providing a new dimension for talent screening for project parties, DAO organizations, and task platforms.
My case is a reflection of this innovative model. Although lacking traditional advantages, my frequent interactions on Arbitrum, participation in Curve governance, cross-chain operations, providing liquidity, participating in test networks, and deploying smart contracts constitute my unique on-chain resume.
This assessment mechanism based on actual behavior opens up new opportunities for many talents who are at a disadvantage in the traditional job market. It highlights the core values of the Web3 world: Decentralization, fairness, and the emphasis on actual contributions. In this emerging ecosystem, your abilities and actions speak louder than words, paving a new path for career development.
