MEME Supercycle: Chips are King, Grasp the Hotspots and Stay Away from PVP

MEME Supercycle: follow the chips is the key.

In the past month, we have witnessed the rapid iteration of the MEME market. From the $GOAT in the AIMEME field, to the $MOODENG brought by influencer effects, and then to the $BAN triggered by art auctions, almost every day there is a new popular MEME project emerging.

In various analytical articles, PVP is always portrayed as the winning side, as if 1 SOL can easily earn 100 or 200 SOL. However, those who have actually participated in PVP understand that behind every winner, there are at least 100 losing investors.

Although we all try to summarize the secrets of PVP success, such as studying the previous projects of developers, following the depth of liquidity pools, and tracking the movement of smart money, there are still very few successful individuals. After all, very few can ship faster than the project team.

Looking back at this round of market trends, the rhythm of MEME has run through the entire cryptocurrency cycle. The market is changing from the bottom up, and retail investors seem to have achieved the "fairness" they are pursuing: hitting VC, avoiding projects backed by VC, and not buying overvalued stories.

On the surface, it seems they have gotten what they wanted. But has the market really become fairer? VCs have just moved from the front stage to behind the scenes. Some market makers have become the new darlings, while projects like GOAT have quickly risen to fame due to support from well-known investment institutions. Ultimately, it is still the big money that leads the direction of the market.

In such a market environment, what we can do is to follow with a mature perspective, looking for hotspots of capital inflows and focusing on leading projects. From the overall market view, when Bitcoin's market is performing well, following the on-chain MEME market will be more meaningful. However, during market downturns, MEME is unlikely to generate significant wealth effects, as large funds tend to remain on the sidelines.

In terms of liquidity, it is not currently insufficient, but rather too dispersed. Chains like SOL, ETH, and BASE each have their active user groups. However, it must be said that trading MEME on the SOL chain is more convenient and has led to more popular projects. However, due to the existence of certain trading platforms, the intensity of PVP has also increased accordingly.

When investing on the SOL chain, it is recommended to follow those MEME projects that are already trending on social media, have been listed on trading platforms, and maintain their popularity for more than 24 hours. This way, you can avoid the most intense PVP stage.

The ideal buying opportunity is during the second pullback or during the pullback period after the project has gained attention. However, be careful not to exceed three pullbacks for the same coin, as "after two declines, three will deplete." While popularity is certainly important, the right entry price is more helpful for adjusting mindset and long-term holding.

Remember, "selling high means eternal profit, cashing in is safety". In the current market environment, major narratives change every month, there are no eternal hotspots, only ever-flowing hot money. When playing MEME, having only chips in your eyes is the correct mindset.
