The Ethereum ecosystem welcomes a heavyweight player, as an investment company led by Andrew Keys, a senior member of the Ethereum community, officially debuts, sparking widespread attention in the crypto world. This newly established company has adopted a strategy similar to MicroStrategy, completing its layout in the US stock market through mergers and acquisitions and stock issuance.
The core team of the company consists of 5 members, 3 of whom come from ConsenSys, showcasing a strong background in Ethereum. Notably, the well-known crypto assets exchange Kraken also participated in this round of investment.
In terms of financing details, the founder contributed 169,000 ETH, while other shareholders invested 800 million dollars, with an average cost of about 10 dollars per ETH. This financing structure reflects the team's firm confidence in the long-term value of Ethereum.
Andrew Keys, as the owner of an asset management firm and an early builder of Ethereum, holds a significant amount of low-cost acquired ETH. Through this operation, he cleverly converted his personal holdings of ETH into company stock, achieving an optimized allocation of assets.
In addition, Pantera Capital, a joint investor of SharpLink and Bitmine, also participated in the investment of the company. This series of actions indicates that a close alliance is forming within the North American crypto assets investment circle.
This move not only demonstrates institutional investors' confidence in Ethereum but also reflects that the crypto assets market is entering a more mature and regulated stage. As more traditional financial institutions and seasoned crypto participants join, we may see more similar investment strategies emerge, further driving the development and mainstreaming of the crypto assets market.
