In the crypto world, those who can make money can be roughly divided into three categories of people:
The first type treats virtual currencies as long-term assets. Their operation is very simple; they just select some major coins like Bitcoin to buy and hold, rarely paying attention even when a bull market arrives. For them, buying coins is like accumulating assets; whenever they have spare money, they invest a little—like earning 120,000 a year, saving 30,000 to invest, and maintaining a steady mindset. They never get caught up in the various news of the crypto world, knowing full well: pondering aimlessly may not necessarily yield more profit, and there's no need to exert that effort. They persist like this, weathering two rounds of bull and bear markets, investing a bit each year, and in the end, their assets might just grow to tens of millions.
The second category relies purely on luck. These people listen to news everywhere in the market, mix in circles, and flip with the trends, sometimes losing and sometimes winning. But in a bull market, they might just guess right on a certain coin and make tens of thousands in one go. I have examples like this around me; some can withdraw in time and exchange their coins for tangible assets like houses and cars, preserving most of their profits; while others end up losing their money back to the crypto world. When the market is good, it's like rain, occasionally giving them a bit of "lucky money"; but when the market goes bad, their little money, along with interest, gets swallowed back - this is the luck-based player who eats based on market cycles. I have also made money by luck, knowing my own level well, withdrawing in time and converting the profits into reliable assets is the correct approach.
The third type is truly powerful. The crypto world is like an ATM for them: they can both create projects to issue coins and harvest retail investors, as well as manipulate the market and make huge profits by following the trends. They mainly operate in U-denominated (using stablecoins), and they feel satisfied as long as the amount of stablecoins in their hands increases; they don’t really believe in any assets that can be held long-term and think that only an increase in the quantity of stablecoins equals real profit. These individuals can make profits regardless of bull or bear markets, and when it's time to withdraw from the projects they speculate on, they can pull out immediately. This is exactly what makes them better than novices: they invest in a project they believe can yield profits, and they won’t run away after making a small profit; as long as the logic for the rise is still there, they will continue to hold onto it. They don’t care about the price levels and never think "this coin is too expensive, I should sell it" or "it's too high, it might drop"; they only trust the logic in their minds, and once that logic disappears, they decisively exit. #币圈#
