How much is your judgment worth? My actual experience on BitX.
In an era of information overload and emotional turmoil, our judgments about the future are becoming increasingly difficult. Whether it is the fluctuations of financial markets or the development trends of hot events, people seem to focus more on the "loudest voices" rather than the "most accurate judgments." Social platforms are bustling, but truly valuable insights are scarce.
As someone who has been following trends for a long time, I have always been interested in the concept of a "prediction platform." It is not just an interactive gameplay, but more like an experiment on "collective wisdom." However, many platforms are not user-friendly for the average user: complex mechanisms, fixed topics, and unclear incentives... There are not many places where users can truly gain positive returns based on their judgment.
Recently, a friend sent me a platform link, saying that I could earn profits by sharing. With a mindset of giving it a try, I used it, and to my surprise, the experience was quite interesting. Here are a few points I would like to share:
(1) High proportion of sharing incentives
I created a topic called "Bitcoin July Price Prediction" and casually shared it with my friends, and unexpectedly I received a reward of 27 USDT - although it's not much, it was indeed a pleasant surprise. This platform allocates most of the fees to community users, which is considered a high incentive ratio in the industry.
(2) User Co-creation Topics
BitX belongs to the UGC model, where users can independently create prediction topics, unlike some platforms that can only follow the official settings. On BitX, whether it's "2025 LOL Champion" or "Will there be a rate hike at a certain meeting" can be published by users themselves. After others participate, the topic creator can also earn a share from the transaction fees. This mechanism encourages community co-creation and provides incentives for content creators. However, the platform is still in its early stages and needs a few high-popularity topics to enhance overall activity.
(3) Mechanism for Determining the Results of Community Participation
I have been disappointed by result disputes on other platforms, so I place great importance on the transparency of settlement. The topic results of BitX are determined by votes from community members, not unilaterally decided by the platform. If there is a dispute over the results, users can stake assets to participate in the voting process, and the side that votes correctly will receive incentives. This approach encourages rational judgment and also avoids the issue of "referee and player being one." Although there is still room for improvement, overall it offers a greater sense of participation and credibility.
(4) The trading interface is more in line with usage habits.
The order book of BitX adopts a left-right structure, consistent with the platform I usually use, making information partitioning more intuitive and clearly distinguished by red and green, which is more convenient for comparing buying and selling forces. However, the current interface style is somewhat technical, and it is easy to misclick when sliding the price on the mobile end. I hope the user experience can be optimized in the future.
There are two relatively direct ways to participate and earn rewards on BitX:
The first is to publish topics and share them. As long as there are participants in the trading of the topic, you can continuously earn a share of the transaction fees. For those with social resources, this is a lightweight monetization method. The second is to participate in community arbitration, helping to decide the outcomes of contentious topics. If you vote correctly, you can reclaim your stake and also earn rewards, making it a test of judgment with relatively stable returns. In other words, BitX encourages users to participate in the platform's construction with "judgment" and "social skills". Not only can they play, but they can also earn rewards while playing. This design that combines social interaction and knowledge-based earnings is a good attempt for users who enjoy participating and are willing to think.
In this information and emotion-filled environment, we often feel concerned about the opacity of platform mechanisms. However, BitX gives me a relatively friendly atmosphere: topics are initiated by users, results are decided by community votes, and sharing and adjudication can receive positive incentives. Although it is not yet the ideal state, at least the platform is willing to give more initiative to users, allowing ordinary people the opportunity to participate in building the platform.
For me, the process of transforming from a "bystander" to a "participant" is itself a form of value.
