#Trump Media launches crypto ETF#
Today the crypto market is reacting to major developments involving former President Donald Trump.
Trump Media & Technology Group has filed for a new crypto ETF
(Exchange-Traded Fund), which would include major cryptocurrencies like
Bitcoin (70%),
Ethereum (15%),
Solana (8%),
Cronos (5%),
and XRP (2%).
This move reflects Trump’s increasingly pro-crypto stance and signals a push to create institutional investment vehicles tied to digital assets.
Following the announcement, Cronos saw a 16% jump in market cap, and overall sentiment around the crypto market turned positive.
However, Trump also introduced new 50% tariffs on Brazilian imports, adding to recent trade tensions involving Canada, Mexico, and China.
