China Securities Association: The market clearing mechanism has been further improved, and since last year, 64 companies have been delisted.

According to the report released by the China Shanghai Association on May 8, as of the end of April 2025, the total number of listed companies in the whole market is 5,420, including 3,189 on the main board, 1,380 on the GEM, 586 on the Science and Technology Innovation Board, and 265 on the Beijing Stock Exchange. Since last year, 137 new listed companies have been added, raising 92.098 billion yuan, of which 100 have been newly listed on the Growth Enterprise Market, the Science and Technology Innovation Board, and the Beijing Stock Exchange, accounting for 72.99%, and 56.255 billion yuan have been raised, accounting for 61.08%; 64 companies were delisted, and the market clearing mechanism was further improved.
