Odaily Planet Daily News Sotheby’s completed another round of auctions of several rare NFTs confiscated from Three Arrows Capital (3AC) this Thursday, with sales exceeding $10.9 million.
There are a total of 37 works from generative artists such as Dmitri Cherniak, Tyler Hobbs, Jeff Davis, etc. The highlight of the sale is Dmitri Cherniak's Ringers #879 (commonly known as "The Goose"), which is estimated to sell for $2-3 million. After bidding, it was eventually sold to prominent NFT investor 6529 for $6.2 million. In a tweet after the auction, Sotheby's reported that it was the second-highest price ever paid for a work of generative art.
So far, the Grails auction series has brought in more than $16 million. (Coindesk)
