ChainCatcher news, according to Cointelegraph, Hatu Sheikh, founder of Coin Terminal, pointed out that the current Initial DEX Offering (IDO) model has deviated from its original intention of serving retail investors. High thresholds and long lock-up periods limit ordinary users' participation. However, new IDO platforms are innovating by dropping the minimum investment amount to $100 and providing refund mechanisms to re-establish a fair participation mechanism. Data shows that 64% of retail investors are willing to provide liquidity for early projects. Analysts believe that if IDO can adhere to the retail-first principle, it will become an important channel for ordinary investors to build long-term wealth.
