Chewy's stock price has risen nearly 3% to around $30, with a peak price of $39.10. The stock had previously surged as much as 25% and experienced a trading halt. Chewy was founded by Ryan Cohen, former CEO of GameStop and an investor in Bed Bath & Beyond. Petco's stock price also soared to $3.74 at one point.
