VanEck: Due to the unstable income from Mining, American BTC mining companies are accelerating the layout of artificial intelligence and high-performance computing businesses
Golden Finance reported that, according to a report cited by Cryptoslate, BTC mining companies are accelerating their transformation into artificial intelligence (AI) and high-performance computing (HPC) businesses due to unstable transaction fee income. The report points out that although network congestion may lead to short-term cost increases, the emergence of off-chain solutions such as exchange-traded funds (ETFs), futures markets, layer-two networks, and centralized exchanges has created uncertainty for long-term on-chain revenue growth. It is reported that several mining companies such as Cipher Mining, Iris Energy, Riot Platforms, HIVE Digital Technologies have started to layout relevant businesses. VanEck expects BTC mining enterprises to allocate 20-30% of their power capacity to AI and HPC businesses in the future to achieve diversified sources of income.
